In ‘Footloose’, dance-mad Ren MacCormack gets an unwelcome taste of small-town conservatism when he goes from Boston to the backwater of Bomont – a small town where music and dancing have been banned by the council and powerful Reverend Shaw (Dennis Quaid), following the tragic death of five teenage revellers.
When he takes on the ban with his feet, as well as falling in love with the minister's daughter, the town soon kicks off its Sunday shoes.
A remake of the1984 classic, ‘Footloose’ gets a fresh new take from writer/director Craig Brewer.
Contains moderate violence, sex and drug references.

Watch it!
What has been retained is the film's original content and integrity whilst dragged into this century.
The dancing is fierce and whilst unfortunately Kenny Wormald cannot match the charisma of a young Kevin Bacon, Miles Teller, (Willard) steals the entire big screen. I predict big things for this young unknown actor.
The most unsettling part (despite Julianne Hough looking more like Jennifer Aniston than Jen herself) is Dennis Quaid's 'new' face - as he now looks like the glorious Pete Postlethwaite without the presence of the late, great English actor.
Laugh out loud funny and toe-tapping good fun, recommended thoroughly.
-amazing:)!
very violent, not very funny but it was fantastic dancing, romance and very good quality!
Jullianne Hough was amazing and all the dancing was so good and the fights were a bit cruel but apart from that it was absoulutley amazing,do go and see!:D:D
