What's the plot?

Action thriller ‘Contagion’ follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that’s been unleashed on the world. As the fast-moving epidemic spreads, so does worldwide panic as the medical community races to find a cure and stop the devastating wave of death. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a disintegrating society.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic), ‘Contagion’ brings a stellar cast to the screen in a disturbing vision of a modern-day plague and the disastrous effects it could have around the globe.

Worthy Star studded Movie fit for a Health and Hygiene business meeting. Taking paranoia to the extreme. We have been warned, now wash your hands :-)

If they would have added a bit more action like in "Outbreak" then the film would have been much better. Otherwise it was only OK.

This film had such a good cast of fine actors I was truly expecting more of it. The plot which though having been done before- should have truly been capable of an award or 2 capturing all the spine chilling imagination drama and intrigue for a promising plot with some nail biting human momments. Instead we were plagued to death by boring facts and figures narrative diary which was anything but personal touching or indeed, human all the way through. Instead by what I felt was a mere documentary without any redeeming features, music mediocre; acting wooden;no human emotion or feelings. filled with sensitive or remotely interesting narrative background or even an intro of each member of the cast,and was decidedly serious with a capital S. Everything about it from begining to end was dull, slow,grey dreary filled with irrelevant studies of the micro-organisms/ germs themselves and too much scientific detail for the average layman of biological and mathemetical figures numbers and percentages which on their own played no enriching part. Had there been human touch interaction warmth emotion one could swallow the over scientific factors but the only word I would use to summ up the essence of this over long tedious bore chore is well- disapointingly boring.
