this film wasn't that good and didn't live up to the hype for me as it was confusing and dull but the actors were brilliant and very convincing, especially gary oldman and benedict cumberbatch. This film is probably aimed at people who have read the book or seen the television series, as it wasn't clear as to what was going on... just a jumbled mess but actors are what made it watchable. not that good of an ending to top it all off either...

This is one of the most boring films I've ever seen. I thought that with Colin Firth this would be great - how wrong I was. Don't bother!

After huge anticipation and excitement to see this film, my husband, son and I almost chewed our hands off with boredom. Looking around the audience, others obviously felt the same. Watching paint dry would have been far more entertaining.
