John Cusack stars as Edgar Allan Poe in ‘The Raven’, a dark thriller that brings to life a fictional account of the acclaimed author turning detective to stop a killer who’s using his own works as inspiration for a series of gory murders.
Initially the prime suspect, the writer is then enlisted by the police to find the mad murderer stalking the streets of 19th century Baltimore before his deadly spree continues.
‘The Raven’, from director James McTeigue (V for Vendatta), also stars Alice Eve and Luke Evans.
Contains strong bloody violence and grisly images.

Good, definately worth seeing
It moves a little slow at times, but there is enough to keep you interested, and its plot is not predictable, where a lot of these horror-esque crime thrillers are.
